Greetings from Stockholm, Sweden! This is the last week of traveling for Weldyn. Barb has about 10 more days of teaching in Mongolia before she returns to NU and commences with her classes. Please pray for us has we begin a new semester at Northwest University. Please pray for students who are doing their semester abroad studies in Thailand, China, and Russia. So, what is happening in Stockholm? Weldyn is thankful that you asked. Since assuming the directorship of the Asia Pacific Education Office, Weldyn now sits on a couple of accreditation boards. One such board connects with the Pentecostal World Fellowship. This new entity (World Alliance for Pentecostal Theological Education) is a very large “umbrella” organization for Pentecostal and Charismatic accreditation associations from around the world. It was launched in conjunction with the World Pentecostal Fellowship triennial meeting here in Stockholm, Sweden. Included in the establishment and formalization of this new organization, a symposium was established. Significant papers were presented that showed the need for relevant teaching methodologies including have a greater understanding the student and his / her learning abilities. Since we last wrote to you, we did have a very successful time working with the Thailand Assemblies of God Bible Institute. Also, Weldyn attended the Asia Pacific Theological Association’s symposium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Barb flew back to Mongolia to complete one half credit of a teacher certification course. This week and next week she teaches a class to the fist year students. Sincerely we ask you to pray for our students in Mongolia, Singapore, and Indonesia, as well as the United States. Students who train for the harvest of souls are significant workers for the continued expansion of the Kingdom of God! Again, we are so grateful for your prayer support. Because of the Harvest Field, Weldyn and Barb Houger Thanks for your prayers, they are greatly appreciated!
