Prayer Focus
June 2009
Dear Prayer Partners:
Please pray for a three-year boy
(Singapore) who had a liver transplant. Prayer is needed because all of
the ducts into the liver are blocked! Now he is back in the hospital
and needs another liver transplant. Thanks for your prayer! And... Here is the latest on little Sage (Singapore):
Dear Friends
Update on Sage...
He is not doing so well today. He can't tolerate his milk and keeps vomiting them out.
At present, he is not on the liver recipient list yet as he must be cured of his infections first..
Please press on in our prayers...
Mongolia: We just received notice THURSDAY that every religious
registered organization is going to inspected by 5 different Mongolian
Government agencies. The government has given notice that next week
someone needs to be in the office of all Christian organizations so
that whenever the 5 inspectors come to investigate they will have
access to ALL the books. From finances to charter members, everything
will be analyzed. The inspection of the books is not being done by the
local police. Instead it is the top representatives from 5 separate
agencies who will be working together to investigate the churches.
Yesterday, we spoke with one of our Mongolian pastors who stated, “The
government has given no explanation ‘Why?’”
Please pray for Pastor Zain (El Camino Church). A team of student workers and Pastor Zain, also a student at Northwest University, have planted a church on the campus of Northwest University, Kirkland, WA. Please pray that they will fine favor with the Latino population in the Kirkland and Redmond vicitities. It is neat to see this church plant and watch them grow. They have many community activities planned this summer and their prayer is to demonstrate for the Latino people the love of Christ in practical ways. Thanks for praying.
URGENT PRAYER NEEDED !!!
Thailand: Thank you for your prayers! Here is the current update on the situation and news from near Umpang, 4 hours south of Mae Sot.
At a different location south of Mae Sot, 1,200 Karen are trapped on a
mountain on the Thai side of the border. The Burmese Army is waiting on
the Burma side and the Thai army won't let them come down on the Thai
side. The Thai army did allow food and blankets to be distributed,
though.
Please pray for this situation as God leads you.
Neill & Diana
Thanks!
