The MIR position allows them to teach classes, mentor students, and have many one on one sessions with students interested in missions and cross cultural ministries.
Weldyn and Barb are Associate Directors for the Asia Pacific Education Office (APEO). The focus of this ministry is on Bible Colleges throughout the Asia Pacific Region. This ministry will concentrate on faculty development, e.g. helping the teachers to become more integrative in their teaching. Furthermore, assistance will be given in the area of theological curriculum relevancy. All theological curricula is to be relevant to Asian societies and concerns, which include the postmodern youth, the laborers, the farmers, the working class, and the professionals.
Please take time to look through the various pages of the website. From time to time we will add new pictures. Please feel free to download the pictures for use in your church bulletin or newsletters, Sunday School communiqués, or any mission related publications.
Weldyn and Barb’s compassion and vision is to disciple and train Asians for full time ministry, as well as for preparation to serve in the local church. They desire to train Asians to reach Asia!
Please take time to review the prayer requests. This year the prayer requests will be people focused oriented. We want you to know some of the people and to pray earnestly for them. These prayer requests are updated once every four to six weeks. We desire to see the Kingdom of God expanded and reaching into all people groups. Prayer is the key for church planting, harvesting, and an essential element to maintain a Christian presence within the local community.
