spread the branches" An Enumeration of the Descendants of Hans Torsen Lotoft written by Robert L. Moylan.
It is the Houger family as of approx 1995. Monte Houger his 4 wives and his kids starts on page 99. Any family

My name is Michael A. Houger Sr and I am the son of Monty Houger who is the son of Elmer H. Houger. Elmer was
the brother of Vernon Houger my great Uncle. I live In Alaska, North Pole, at present. I have two boys
who's names are Michael A. Houger ll and Joseph D. S. Houger. I went to Washington in 1997 to see my
Uncle Vernon and my Aunt Pat. I have not seen them since the 80s it was a nice trip and very long. The reason
I went in the first place was that my father had died and I decided to let my kids at the time see all the
relatives we could find on the way. I was to late to see my Uncle again, however I did see my aunt Pat. I have
not heard from her in a long time I was wondering if she is still alive and how she is doing. I saw this page
and was just amased that ther are alot of Houger's out there and some day maybe I can figure out how we
are all related. I know I have a cousion named Bill Houger who was an attorney in Seattle area however I did
not get the chance to see him while I was there perhaps some day I will. Well I hope all of you the very best
and thanks for the web page it is very nice to meet some of you and without this page I would have never
known.

University. I saw your name on the website regarding the trip to Alaska and wondered if you were related. I
contacted my second cousin, Karla Stevens, which is Annette Heldmans daughter who is the daughter of Grace
Houger. We discovered that we are related.

Dear Sis Barb
Sorry to hear about your loss of your beloved father. Our prayers are with you.
For
me, I have just "decided" that I should end my grief journey (It has been more than 3 and a half
year !!). I was at my church retreat in June and I desperately cried out for a breakthru of some kind, and the
Lord was faithful. Since than the last few months have been like a final lap of my grief journey, as He gave
me closure one by one, every one is a stepping stone (aiyah, the thing is I don't know how many closures
does one needs). Any way,I have just been willing to accept the truth that my loss is her gain.
My
memories of her now (minus the grief and ache) is even more precious and hope to keep them this way until I
meet her again one day.
Meanwhile, our prayers are with both of you during this time and for your
faithful work in the field for the Lord.
