August 2017 Update

Thank you for continuing to stand with us in prayer and support. Weldyn had a successful knee replacement surgery, but still faces pain and often uncomfortable. We appreciate your continued prayers. He is faithfully doing his therapy.
You have prayed with us for one of our former Asian students as she tried for a visa for a very sensitive country. She has a temporary solution as she studies the language. Please pray for B as she studies the language, builds relationships, and shares Good News. She did share a story with us that I want to encourage all of you through her story.
She was riding a bus and sitting next to a lady that was coughing uncontrollably. She felt the LORD speak to her to touch the lady so she could be healed. She gave excuses to the LORD, but felt she must. The LORD said He wanted to heal the lady because He had compassion on her. So B was obedient and the coughing stopped immediately. This experience was such an encouragement to her. She said, “Sometimes we fail to experience the miracles of God in our lives because we are so preoccupied with trying to figure out things on our own will, strength, and capabilities.” And she added, “What God requires of us is to listen to Him and obey.” Just as she stated that she is challenged to listen and obey right away, we pray you also are encouraged and challenged.
It is always a blessing to hear testimonies from our former students. God is at work around the world. Thanks for joining with us to be able to train and encourage our many former students in their places of ministry.
Please pray for travel and ministry in different countries starting September 8 and for continued healing for Weldyn.
In His Ministry,
Weldyn & Barb
