The focus of this website is to introduce Weldyn and Barb Houger to you and the vast mission field of Asia Pacific Region. It is their desire that this means of communication will keep you informed of what is happening in the lives of Weldyn and Barb.

Weldyn and Barb are Co-Directors for the Asia Pacific Education Office (APEO). The focus of this ministry is to assist and partner with Bible Colleges throughout the Asia Pacific Region. This ministry will concentrate on faculty development, e.g. helping the teachers to become more integrative in their teaching. Furthermore, assistance will be given in the area of theological curriculum relevancy. All theological curricula should be relevant to Asian societies and concerns, which include the postmodern youth, the common laborers, the farmers, and the urbanites.

2013 brings changes to the ministry of Weldyn and Barb Houger. The year starts with a three week block of teaching at Northwest University. The rest of the year focuses on travel to Bible schools throughout the Asia Pacific region with dedicated time at the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS) in Baguio, Philippines. This school is the seminary for the Asia Pacific Region. Other school sites for APEO consultations for 2013 include Mongolia, Cambodia, Thailand, and some of the Island nations.

Please take time to look through the various pages of the website. From time to time we will add new pictures. Please feel free to download the pictures for use in your church bulletin or newsletters, Sunday School communiqués, or any mission related publications.

Weldyn and Barb’s compassion and vision is to disciple and train Asians for full time ministry and cross-cultural work, as well as for preparation to serve in the local church. They desire to train Asians to reach Asia!

Please take time to review the home page news update. We desire to see the Kingdom of God expanded and reaching into all people groups. Prayer is the key for church planting, harvesting, and an essential element to maintain a Christian presence within the local community of Christ’s followers.
